Collection: A Picture of Respect
Foster self-respect in your students when you invite them to make portraits of themselves!
Materials:
- Westcott 5” Kids scissors
- 8" white paper square
- 9" x 12" construction paper
- 3" x 12" paper strip
- crayons
- glue

Step 1
Draw a self-portrait on the paper square.
Step 2
Trim the extra paper around your portrait and glue it on the construction paper.
Step 3
On the paper strip, write three positive words or sentences about yourself. Cut them apart and glue each one below your portrait.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
