Collection: Colors That Pop
Bright and vivid—this project provides a fun way to explore colors and experiment with positive and negative space.
Materials:
- Westcott 5" Kids scissors
- crayons or markers
- white construction paper
- black construction paper
- glue

Step 1
Color the white paper, being sure to fill every space. Observe the way different colors stand out next to each other.
Step 2
Cut the black paper into smaller shapes and strips. Then arrange the pieces on top of the colored paper until the colored paper that shows through creates an image. Carefully glue the black paper in place and trim the edges of the project if needed.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
