Collection: Pizza Wheel
Order's up! A hands-on pizza wheel made from a paper plate is perfect for introducing math fractions.
Materials:
- Westcott 5” Kids scissors
- 2 paper plates
- paper scraps
- glue
- markers

Step 1
With help as needed, draw lines to divide both paper plates into fourths.
Step 2
Cut paper scraps and glue them to one plate so it resembles a pizza. Then cut that plate into fourths (pizza slices).
Step 3
Using the uncut plate as a template, model different fractions with the pizza slices.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
