Collection: Skate, Glide, Draw!
Use music to inspire students as they create this piece of art! Have a CD player ready to play classical music.
Materials:
- Westcott 5" Kids scissors
- 9" x 12" dark blue construction paper sheet (pond)
- construction paper scraps
- glitter
- paintbrush /search?q=Westcott+5"+Kids+scissors
- glue
- crayons, including white

Step 1
While the music is playing, push the white crayon along the pond with the rhythm. After the music stops, paint a light coat of glue on the pond and sprinkle on glitter.
Step 2
Cut and glue the paper scraps to create an image of you skating. Add crayon details. Glue the skater to the pond.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
